4. What is the difference between 2 and 5 phase stepper motors, and how to choose them?

The 2-phase motor has low cost, but at low speed the vibration is large, and at high speed the torque decreases rapidly.

The 5-phase motor has low vibration, good high-speed performance, 30~50% higher than the 2-phase motor speed, and can replace the servo motor in some occasions.

5. When to choose dc servo system, what is the difference between it and ac servo?

Dc servo motors are divided into brushless and brushless motors. Brush motor has low cost, simple structure, large starting torque, wide speed range, easy control, need maintenance, but easy maintenance (carbon brush replacement), electromagnetic interference, and environmental requirements. Therefore, it can be used in ordinary industrial and civil applications that are sensitive to cost. Brushless motor has small volume, light weight, large output, fast response, high speed, small inertia, smooth rotation and stable torque. The control is complex and easy to realize intelligentization. The electronic commutation is flexible and can be replaced by square wave or sine wave. Motor maintenance free, high efficiency, low operating temperature, electromagnetic radiation is small, long life, can be used in various environments. Ac servo motor is also brushless motor, which is divided into synchronous motor and asynchronous motor. Currently, synchronous motor is commonly used in motion control. It has a large power range and can achieve great power. Large inertia, low maximum rotational speed, and rapid reduction as power increases. Therefore, it is suitable for low speed and smooth operation.
