The difference between CNC stepping motor and servo motor 3

6. What should I pay attention to when using the motor?

Check as follows before power on: 1) the power supply voltage is appropriate (over-voltage may cause damage to the driver module); The +/- polarity of dc input must not be misconnected, and whether the motor type or current setting value on the drive controller is appropriate (not too large at first); 2) the connection of control signal line is firm. It is best to consider shielding in the industrial field (such as using twisted pair); 3) do not connect all the lines that need to be connected at the beginning, only connect them into the most basic system, and then connect them step by step after good operation. 4) make sure that the grounding method is clear, or use floating instead of connecting. 5) the state of the motor shall be closely observed within half an hour of starting operation, such as normal motion, sound and temperature rise, and the problem shall be immediately stopped for adjustment.4. What is the difference between 2 and 5 phase stepper motors, and how to choose them?

The 2-phase motor has low cost, but at low speed the vibration is large, and at high speed the torque decreases rapidly.

The 5-phase motor has low vibration, good high-speed performance, 30~50% higher than the 2-phase motor speed, and can replace the servo motor in some occasions.
